This is the new updated version of the Nova (formerly Sapporo coat) pattern. With new sleeve and length options.

Go bold with this dramatic cocoon silhouette and angled seaming. Choose lightweight fabric for a spring/summer version or cosy wool for cooler weather. Our fully lined Sapporo features pockets hidden in the front seams, and is a pattern for every season: choose between cropped and long sleeves, the full length coat and the shorter jacket, and it’ll be your fave go-to piece year round.

Can be made in any woven fabric; from a light cotton, rayon or silk right through to a heavy wool. The choice is yours!

    Sapporo Coat

    This was my first Papercut pattern purchase. The pattern is on nice durable paper and the pattern envelope is really cute. I loved the oversize look of this kimono type coat. I live in a very warm climate so I chose to make it out of a Ponte so I would be able to wear it more and it worked wonderfully. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. This would be a good coat pattern to start with if you've never made one before.

    Not used yet. However, looks good quality product and instructions etc easily understandable and complete. Very satisfied.

    Exciting, Versatile pattern

    This is the first time I have purchased a Papercut pattern. The pattern lends itself to a variety of fabrics and occasions, from ultra smart to stylish casual. The pattern is beautifully presented and of stong quality paper - (puts Vogue etc to shame!). I'm looking forward to purchasing more Papercut patterns
