About the Fabric:
A 100% boiled wool coating dressmaking fabric. A medium weight wool coating dress fabric in a navy colour, boiled wool is a fabric made from 100% wool and then soaked and agitated so the fibres become more compressed and resistant.
This wool coating dress fabric has some soft drape and would be perfect for making light to mid weight jackets, gilets and waistcoats. It is is suitable for patterns that require a raw edge in the design and will not fray if left unfinished.
Jules 100% Boiled Wool Coating - Navy is 100% wool and is 130cm wide.
About the Pattern:
The arbre coat pattern has two length options - view A is the short version which finishes at the hip and view B is the long version and finishes mid calf. You also have the option to choose between fastening the front opening with press studs, or to secure the wrap front with a tie belt.
The arbre coat pattern is unlined, and we also have a lining add-on pattern available separately, should you choose this option.
