This fabric is to die for - rich colors and the scuba is a nice medium weight. Can't wait to sew it up into a Lodo Dress.

    Low quality fabric

Posted by Magdalena on 28th May 2018

Just as in case of other Lady McElroy scuba I bought, the fabric is quite low quality. Even before I've washed it for the first time, on the fabric surface there were some white "scratches", which while wearing the garment were appearing in places where one normally wears a purse or belt. I'm very disappointed, because the garment quickly started looking old and used. Additionally this piece of fabric had vary uneven and stretched selvedge so that in fact the fabric width I could use was circa 15 cm narrower. Not what one expects for this amount of money. It was the second and the last time I bought Lady McElroy scuba, which is a shame, because their prints are divine.
