Our samples are approx. 6x10cm and are to give you an idea of the weight/ colour of a fabric.
If you require a bigger piece of fabric to see a complete repeat or all the colours in a design please contact us
If you require more than 3 samples please place multiple orders.
That says it all really. I needed the sample but it took time to arrive and cost far too much to post. You need a sliding scale of postage for one to five pieces. Not a flat rate.I was just a bit disappointed. I've got similar sized samples of £185 per m lamé being sent over free elsewhere.

Samples are grate, except their turn around time is way to long. Definitely won’t be ordering if in need fabric in a hurry!

The samples arrived very quickly and were very like the images on screen, but obviously better to see them ‘in the flesh’!
I have always been pleased with the samples I received from Fabric Godmother. If the requested sample was out of stock I was sent a similar fabric in a different colour which is a good idea. The only thing that puzzles me it is that sometimes it takes over a week for samples to arrive even though they are sent via 24 hour mail service but actual fabrics have always arrived within 2-3 days. However, this might be related to Royal Mail and not to Fabric Godmother.

It's so helpful to be able to request free samples and if a retailer charges i generally dont bother. The selection I received from Fabric Godmother were of sufficient size to see the print and examine the handle of the fabric. I was able to confidently choose 2 fabrics to purchase and I was really pleased with the quality. Will definately purchase from Fabric Godmother in future.
Came very quickly. Good size. When you dressmake you need to be able to see/feel the fabrics before buying.
My purchase was samples for home sewing.
The colours of the of the fabric samples when thy arrived were slightly different from thise on the website .
I appreciate that this is a problem of soucing fabric over the internet - and not an issue psecificay for your company.
I was very pleased with your sampling service and will use you again if I see some fabric I might like.
