    Lovely soft fabric

I bought this fabric to make the Elskan dress from Charlotte Kan. I wasn't 100% sure whether it was the best jersey to use but it has worked brilliantly (more info on stretch and recovery on jerseys on this site would be amazing for jersey novices!). It is really easy to work with, is soft and comfortable to wear (and warm) and I would order other colour ways if I had the money! The fabric is more dark grey than black but it was exactly what I was after - and having read the other review I knew what to expect colour wise. I have not washed it other than a pre-wash before cutting and making up the garment so cant comment on how it will last long term but I would definitely recommend this fabric to others.

    Great quality fabric

I purchased this jersey about a month ago and soon thereafter made it into a Hemlock tee. The fabric was lovely and so easy to work with. Since I made the tee I have worn and washed it several times and the fabric looks great after every wash. It feels very nice and heavy (and warm!) on, so it's perfect for the cold season.

It is worth noting that the black is not a very deep black, more like somewhere between a really, really dark grey and black, but personally I think this adds character.

A lovely wool jersey. Easy to sew, warm and has washed well. I bought this with the intention of making a dress but think it might be a little clingy but will give it a go anyway.
