There are no tools included in this product. However, you will need an anvil and button setter, plus a hammer.
I have used this dungaree hardware kit on some dungarees I made last year. They were easy to apply (all you need is a hammer and a wooden board). You should also get an indented disc that you put the domed button in before you hammer it as It protects the button and the dome. They have washed perfectly well in the machine - I do pop them in a laundry bag just in case but no problem so far.
