A stunning ex-designer deadstock silk chiffon sourced directly from the designer. Liberty's Fallen Poppies is a stunning deadstock dressing making fabric with a burgundy background and red poppies. The poppies measure 6.5cm

This silk chiffon dress fabric is sheer and lightweight with a smooth, matte appearance. It would be suitable for lightweight blouses, scarves and dress or skirt overlays.

    lovely fabric, but not for beginners

    Really pleased with the dress I made from this - it drapes beautifully, but it was very difficult to work with. Use all techniques you know for sewing with silk chiffon! I taped individual pattern pieces to a board then taped the fabric over the top when cutting (it was so sheer it was easy to see through). Sewed with walking foot and tissue paper, and tacked a lot.
