    Highly recommend

I haven’t been asked to write this review and for full disclosure I am actually an Husqvarna Ambassador. I have received accessories in return I post hints and tips on IG @jenlegg_teescreatives

I contacted Husqvarna to ask if they had any opportunities

I bought this model 3 years ago it was demonstrated at K & S show. I thought it was fab but went home to think about it. As soon as I mentioned Husqvarna to my husband he said buy it. (He likes he’s power tools) I honestly haven’t looked back. I have inflammatory arthritis so my mobility can be inhibited at times so the ease of changing the feet and the bobbin casing not having screws to undo is so easy for me to handle. It has an automatic needle threader but I’m honest I broke this function within 3 hours by not reading the instructions properly and being heavy handed. The sensory function gives you all the information you need. In 3 years I’ve never had to alter tensions and it’s coped with every type of fabric from denim to silk. If you follow me you can see I sew a lot! The button hole function means I actually have sewn them (hated and avoided on my old machine) Feet I couldn’t live without are the concealed zip foot and the one sided foot.

The foot automatically goes down into your fabric with the foot pedal, something that took a while to get used to but it’s handy in reducing pinning as locks the fabric in place to start your seams. It has the option for a walking foot. I also want to do more free motion embroidery so I’ve been practicing this too. You can re fill your bobbin without unthreading.

    I could go on…

I’ve recommended this Opal690q to 5 friends now and they all love theirs too!

    Highly recommend!
