    Versatile stretch lining

I love this fabric. It is easy to work with and versatile as stretch lining, especially under lace fabrics.

I make pencil skirts with very fine fabric and was struggling to find the right sort of stretchy material to line them with. Problem solved. When are you stocking the black version of this?

    Light, ladder free stretch lining.

Distracted by the more glamorous fabrics on the site, I hadn't really paid attention to this Powernet Stretch Lining until I bought some gorgeous Missoni wool and Josie suggested its use. It proved a perfect way to preserve my modesty while also providing a subtle support for the main fabric, moving with the wool and preventing 'overstretch', because the Powernet itself has such good recovery.
I cut it out using weights & a rotary cutter and sewed with a 'Microtex Sharp' needle, which gave perfect results. Unlike a different type of stretch lining I've tried (bought elsewhere!), the Powernet did not ladder at all when stretched or cut, which was a great boon. This lining fabric may not be very exciting, but it IS: light with good stretch recovery, economical, easy to work with and excellent quality - what else could I want (aside from world peace and a mountain of glorious fabrics)??
