This bundle includes two separate patterns – the Square Dress and the Puff Sleeve – which work in combination to make a puff sleeve dress.

The Square Dress features a square neckline and princess seams at the bust for a beautifully shaped bodice. A wide smocked panel at the back provides a snug fit and makes the dress easy to put on and take off. The full skirt is mid-calf length. The dress can be made with or without sleeves.

The Puff Sleeve is a short sleeve with lots of volume. The volume at the shoulder is created by gathering the top of the sleeve with a gathering stitch. The sleeve ends just above the elbow and is finished with elastic.

What fabric should I use?

Square Dress: This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Fabrics such as crepe, linen, poplin, woven viscose, taslan, cotton satin, and seersucker all work well.

Puff Sleeve: This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Avoid fabric that is too heavy or stiff. Fabrics such as crepe viscose, woven viscose, linen, cotton poplin, taslan, cotton satin, and seersucker all work well.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions (with QR-coded videos); A4/US letter print-at-home patterns (36 pages for dress, 4 pages for sleeve); A0 copy shop patterns (2 sheets for dress, 1 sheet for sleeve) // PDF includes layers.
