This digital sewing pattern shows you how to make 3 different sized quilted boxy toiletry bags; small, medium and large.
Final bag dimensions (height x length x width):
Small: 13cm x 15cm x 8cm (5’’ x 6’’ x 3’’)
Medium: 18cm x 22cm x 10cm (7’’ x 9’’ x 4’’)
Large: 21cm x 26cm x 11.5cm (8’’ x 10’’ x 4.5’’)
Fabric Needed:
Outer - Light - medium weight plain weave fabrics, such as quilters cotton, cotton poplin.
wadding - Any mid loft wadding works well. For ease I use fusible wadding (Vilene H640). If you prefer a more padded look, choose a higher loft (thicker) wadding, although this can be difficult to work with.
Lining - Light/medium weight calico works well as a lining as it as a slight structure to it which helps the bag stand up. If you’d prefer a less structured look choose a lining similar to the outer in a lighter weight fabric.
*PRE-WASH your outer and lining fabric before cutting to prevent unwanted shrinkage*

This pattern is a digital download. The pattern and instruction booklet can be printed on a home printer and is compatible with both A4 and US letter paper. An A0 copy shop file will also be included in the download if you prefer to have it printed out on a large scale. The documents are written in English.
The file is in ZIP format, once downloaded it should be double clicked to open all the files. It works best to download and print the files on a computer/ laptop not on a mobile phone. To print the A4 or US letter pattern, open the file in Adobe Acrobat and print at ‘100% scale’ with the orientation set to ‘Auto’. There are instruction on how to print and piece together the pattern in the instruction booklet.
