This digital sewing pattern shows you how to make The Roo Tote bag. The Roo Tote bag has many internal pockets, one external pocket and a zip closure - making it the perfect bag for work, school or travel.

Final bag dimensions (height x width (top of bag) x depth):

26.5cm (10.4’’) x 47.5 (18.7’’) x 20cm (8’’)

This pattern is a digital download. The pattern, instruction booklet and material checklist can be printed on a home printer and is compatible with both A4 and US letter paper.  An A0 copy shop file will also be included in the download if you prefer to have the pattern printed out on a large scale. The documents are written in English.

The file is in ZIP format, once downloaded it should be double clicked to open all the files. It works best to download and print the files on a computer/ laptop not on a mobile phone.

To print the A4 or US letter pattern, open the file in Adobe Acrobat and print at ‘100% scale’ with the orientation set to ‘Auto’. There are instruction on how to print and piece together the pattern in the instruction booklet.

Materials:

Exact fabric amounts are listed in the instruction booklet and shown in the image on the listing. There are 3 different levels of structure to choose from for the Roo Tote bag. Not all are suitable for a small domestic sewing machine so check before you buy your fabric. Watch the video tutorial for more advice on the best fabrics to use. *PRE-WASH your outer and lining fabric before cutting to prevent unwanted shrinkage*

There is a selection of hardware & trim you will need. This is shown in the image listing and is included in the materials checklist document.
