A wonderful woven linen, viscose and Sorona mix dressmaking fabric with a slight amount of stretch.
This linen mix dressmaking fabric is lightweight enough for shirts and blouses but also has enough body for more statement sleeves and ruffles. It is very slightly sheer when held up to t he light.
Sorona Stretch Linen - Rose is 45% linen, 22% viscose and 18% Sorona. It is 142cm wide and approximately 166gsm. The sorona content gives this fabric 20% width ways stretch.
Viscose is a fibre that is derived from wood pulp, making it a natural fabric that is more breathable than cotton. It is also known as Rayon. Sorona is a plant-based fibre that shares many similar properties to spandex, but is made in a more energy-efficient way.
Please allow 5% shrinkage for this fabric.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, hang out to dry straight after washing, cool iron. Please note when you wash viscose it can become stiff when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries.
