Description

This loose dress features a bodice that sits at high waist and a panelled, lantern-shaped skirt with side pockets. It can be made up in either a short-sleeved (A) or sleeveless (B) version. The Eva Dress is designed to be simple and stylish garment and makes for a comfortable and cool addition to your summer wardrobe. It’s best made up in medium weight crinkle and plain linens, textured cottons and cotton blends. For layering in the cooler months, Eva can also be made up in a wool crepe.

Available in sizes (AUS): XXS-XL (size 6-16) & 18-22.

Recommended fabrics: medium weight crinkle and plain linens, textured cottons and cotton blends, wool crepe etc.

Notions: thread, 25cm x tear-away Vilene.

Seam Allowance: NB: seam allowances are included and are in imperial (inches) not metric (centimetres). All seams are 1/2” except for binding seams which are 1/4”.

Sewing level: suitable for advanced beginners, intermediate and advanced sewers.

    making this up in chambray fabric, easy pattern to follow, but it may be easier for a novice sewer if the pictures on the construction book were a light fabric rather than the dark, and the stitching was in a colour to show up better. All in all though it's fab.

    Great pattern, easy to make up, instructions easy enough to follow. I think it would of been a better idea to use a lighter colour fabric on the instructions though, easier for new sewers to see.

    I love this pattern. I’ve made a number of dresses from different fabrics. Pattern easy to follow and looks great on. I would highly recommend it.

    This pattern is printed on good quality paper and the instruction booklet has photographs of the project which I think look very helpful. I'm looking forward to trying this pattern

    It was like receiving a present. The pattern I wanted plus a lovely book with photos to instruct, wrapped with a ribbon and bow. I will get much use from it.

    I have not used this pattern yet but am delighted with how it looks. The instruction booklet includes diagrams and photographs so that it would be suitable for even an inexperienced dressmaker.
