A beautiful swimwear and sportswear fabric which would be ideal for not only making amazing activewear but could also be used as a lining as well.
This swimwear fabric is super smooth, 60% four-way stretch fabric, with a slinky, cool hand feel. This densely knitted swimwear fabric is is made from nylon and elastane for a great performance and durability.
It is perfect for swimwear such as one-pieces, bikinis and rash tops as well as active and spots wear such as leggings sports bras and gym zip up tops.
Althea Swim/Sport Jersey - Black is 82% Polyamide 18% Lycra and is 155cm wide. This fabric weight is 200 g/sqm.

We highly recommend using Maraflex thread for sewing swimwear, it is used in the same way as your normal thread but has the benefit of having some stretch to it. Perfect for sewing stretchy garments. See all of the colours of maraflex here
