Description
The Lotta Dress was born out of the idea of the kind of dress you might wear to a wedding or a summer party. It's one of our more traditional style dress patterns and has the option of having small puff sleeves or being completely sleeveless, depending on what suits you best. Lotta features a very fitted bodice and a full gathered skirt, giving you an old school curvy silhouette; a matching v neck at the front and back make it that little bit more glamorous too.
As Lotta features several diamond shaped darts, a neckline facing, in-seam pockets and the addition of either sleeves or armhole facings, she's a bit more of an improver or intermediate sewist's pattern. Dress for the summer in light cottons or lawn, try out a silk or chambray, or go more formal with taffeta or raw silk; you could even try out a stretch cotton or a ponte roma for variety.
The Lotta Dress pattern comes in sizes 8 - 20.

The length of the dress is dictated by you depending on how long you wish to make it.
