This dressmaking fabric is an amazingly silky cupro with a beautiful drape and handle. Cupro fabric is a semi-synthetic, plant-based textile made from recycled cotton waste. It is crafted from the tiny, silky cotton fibers that stick to cottonseed and are normally thrown away. Cupro is also known as a vegan silk alternative, it has a smooth feel and fluid drape.
It has a wonderful silky texture which catches the light beautifully.
This dress fabric is the perfect weight for a blouse, dress, flowing skirt or jumpsuit.
