A Message from Kylie

“What I like about the Mule Tote is that it’s a really fun project to sew for new or experienced sewists. This project could be done slowly over a Sunday or managed in tiny chunks in the gaps of life.

However long it takes, the intention for the maker is to have an enjoyable time sewing this tote using the the construction method provided. And as a double bonus, the bag finishes so nicely which makes it the perfect gift!

My advice, start with the Maxi. It requires 1m of fabric so I’m sure you’ve got something in your stash for this project already! Once you’ve sewn one, the next will be easier and you’ll be able to enjoy the process all over again. I always find myself admiring the neat seams when the project is finished, it is what makes this a very special tote bag in a world full of many tote bags!”
