ETTLE is a fun and comfortable trapeze style summer dress and top. The pleated front and elasticated back add extra flair. The adjustable straps, deep hem and side seam pockets are all practical features which allow the dress to grow with your child. View A is a dress and view B top.
SIZE RANGE: Age 3/4 - 13/14
SEWING LEVEL: Intermediate. There is a full sew along for this video linked here to help any newer sewers.
FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS:
Ettle is made using woven fabrics. We would recommend a cotton. Cotton lawn, cotton poplin, quilting cotton or denim chambray would be ideal choices.
SIZE CHART & FABRIC REQUIRED:
Ettle is a trapeze style which swings out from the chest, therefore we would recommend picking your size based on the full chest/bust measurement on the size chart. Double check the finished garment measurements chart, which gives you the length of the dress and top. There are lengthen/shorten lines on the pattern that allow you to adjust the length for a perfect fit.
You will also need:
- Light to medium weight interfacing as per the fabric requirement chart (we recommend Vilene F220 or H180).
- 2.5cm wide non-roll elastic (use cutting guide below).
- 2 x 10-12mm buttons
- Matching thread
