Sewing level: intermediate. The key techniques in this pattern include creating neat, even gathers, applying the neckline bias binding with a beautifully pointed finish, sewing the sleeve plackets, and constructing the cuffs.

Light weight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less hold depending on the desired finish for the folds. Be careful, your fabric must mark well with an iron and not loose too much of its shape: viscose, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin, or twill.

Recommended fabric: light to medium-weight woven fabrics (70–200 g/m2), with either a fluid drape or a little more structure depending on the look you'd like to achieve. Suitable fabrics include viscose, soft jacquard, Tencel, cotton, crêpe, poplin, satin, voile and twill.
