The hooded Landgate is chic yet workaday and features a drawstring waist and side and front pocket options. Our first pattern for both men and women.
All decorative top stitching is optional. For the men's pattern you lengthen the pattern where indicated.
Size XS - XXL.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.
Skill level - intermediate.
Fabric suggestions - cotton canvas, drill, denim, oilskin, linen and soft wool.
You will need the following:
Buttons for pocket flaps (optional) - 2 x 1.3CM/1/2 - 3/4"
Webbing or drawsting cord - 2-3M/2.25-3.25YD of 15-25mm/0.5-1".
Metal eyelets - approx 7mm internal diameter x 2 (optional). You can make buttonholes as an alternative to eyelets.
Fusible interfacing for pockets and buttonholes/eyelets (not for oilskin) - 0.5M/ 1/2YD
Lining (for side pocket bags) - 0.3M/14.5YD (optional).
Metal Zip - 16cm/6" (XS-M) 18cm/7" (L-XXL).
Please note this is a 'pull over your head' jacket so you will need room to manoeuvre!
