The Remy Raglan Top is a simple, timeless top that is quick to make. It features a relaxed fit at the bust and waist with three sleeve choices and an optional keyhole button closure.

  • Beginner level pattern
  • This pattern includes standard size 00 - 20 and curvy sizes 14-34

The Remy Raglan has two front options and three sleeve options, all of which are compatible with both fronts.

  • Version #1 is a plain front
  • Version #2 features a split center and keyhole button closure
  • Short sleeves are meant to be worn rolled up and require fabric with no obvious wrong side
  • 3/4 length sleeve gives more sleeve length
  • Gathered bracelet length sleeve is new to this pattern; if you have an older copy and would like to access this sleeve it is available as a free download here

Fabrics: This pattern is designed for lightweight linen, but any lightweight woven will do. If you choose a more rigid fabric such as cotton lawn, the neck may appear smaller and the bottom hem fuller. For short sleeve option choose a fabric with no obvious wrong side.

Sundries: Thread, Version #2- 1 button approx. 12-20mm

Tools: Fabric scissors, iron & ironing board, straight pins, tailor's chalk, hand sewing needle (Version #2)

I actually ordered this pattern from another supplier after waiting for it to arrive for some days. The other supplier sent the order very quickly and I had already made a toile when the pattern arrived from Fabricgodmother. I like the pattern very much so I am sending the extra pattern to my daughter.

A lovely pattern. Easy to make. Fellow dressmaker’s are interested in this pattern. The selection of Indie patterns at The Fabric Godmother is huge.

I haven’t had chance to make the top yet but I have drawn up the pattern in my size ready to go. There are a lot of unnecessary pieces in this pattern as it contains an extensive size range, including separate pattern pieces for a curvy fit. I feel it would be better if these were divided into 2 patterns. The tissue paper itself is too thin. It has to be so thin to stuff all the pattern pieces into the one envelope. The thin paper and multitude of pattern pieces made it a more lengthy processes for drawing off my size. That said I am now ready to get sewing and looking forward to making what looks like an easy straightforward top.
