Description

This collarless, longline jacket features patch pockets, extended dropped shoulders and full length sleeves with a turned back cuff.The back neck is slightly raised. Effortlessly stylish, the jacket is the ideal winter wardrobe staple and perfect for layering over dresses or any casual outfit. Ideal made up in boiled wool knits, ponti knits, boiled felted wools and neoprene fabrics. IMPORTANT: Not suitable for woven fabrics that fray when cut.

AUS sizing: sizes 16 - 22

Notions: thread. 

Seam Allowance: seam allowances are included. All raw edges are overlapped by 3/8” and side seams are also sewn together taking 1/2” seam allowance. Please take the seam instructions/allowances as specified.

Sewing Level for this pattern: suitable for novice/beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Recommended fabrics: boiled wools, ponti knits, note: fabrics that do not fray when cut.

    I can't fault Tessuti. I love their patterns and have made loads of them. For me, the true test of a good sewing pattern is how much wear I get out of the finished garment. With Tessuti, the answer is loads. This jacket is a joy to make and easy to wear. I'd never done raw edges before. They require very neat edge stitching but otherwise the pattern is relatively straightforward. I dusted off my old walking foot and used that to keep the two layers of boiled wool in place. It definitely makes a difference.
