The Lab coat is a workwear inspired coat with a mid-length style. Features a hidden button front, a clean round neck and large patch pockets for added functionality.

This is a multi-size pattern that includes sizes XS-L.

The pattern comes carefully packaged in an envelope together with step-by-step assembly instructions.
Difficulty: Easy.
Seam allowances are included in the pattern.

Please see our size guide below to find your perfect size, based on the bust measurement.

140-150 cm fabric width
XS-S 2.7 m / M-L 2.8 m

110-120 cm fabric width
XS-S 3.4 m / M-L 3.5 m

Depending on which look you want there are many suitable fabric choices.
To have the workwear touch suggested fabrics are heavy weight fabric, such as canvas, twill, panama, denim, corduroy.
For a dress-like version choose a light to mid weight fabric such as linen, denim, cotton twill, wool, lightweight canvas. Perhaps skip the hidden button front and choose visible buttons and no lower pockets. Or if you’re looking for an even softer variant, more like a cardigan or kaftan, choose a light weight fabric, visible buttons and no pockets.
The green coat is sewn in a cotton stretch twill.

Matching thread
5 sew-in buttons, 25 mm
0.6 m interfacing

The Lab coat is a straight, wide coat with lots of ease and it can easily be shortened or lengthened. Use chest and seat measurements for sizing.

Ahead in the style game !

Have used assembly line patterns in the past and have been very pleased with them. Haven't put this item together yet. But looking forward to wearing it this winter.
4* because of the stiff paper pattern is printed on. Probably because I am old school used to tissue.
