The Rib Sweater is our answer to a slouchy jersey top but with a bit more style. Think ‘big cosy sweatshirt’ that somehow manages to feel both supremely relaxed yet chic.
This PDF Pattern comes with in depth written instructions, an A4 tile copy, US Letter tiles and an A0 version. This pattern also comes with PDF Layers so you can choose to view only the sizes you need when printing.
Skill level: Suitable for beginners and early makers.
Sizing: Sizes 4 - 28 are included in this pattern. Sizes run true to UK sizing - for full sizing details see below.
Construction techniques: Simple stretch stitch seams and a small amount of topstitching
Suitable fabrics: Jersey sweatshirt fabric & chunky ribbing for the collar, hem and cuffs
Fabric requirements:
Self Fabric width 150cm | Sizes 4 - 16 = 120cm | Sizes 18 - 28 = 125cm
Self Fabric width 110cm | Sizes 4 - 16 = 140cm | Sizes 18 - 28 = 190cm
You’ll also need an 80cm length of ribbed jersey which usually comes on rolls that are 70cm wide (all sizes).
