This pattern is a perfect example of the high-end, unique and detailed patterns we endeavour to produce here at Trend Pattern Cutting HQ.

Inspired by the AW17 suiting and power dressing trend seen in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. This trend is made up of a strong shoulder and a sharp silhouette. The ongoing cape trend is also displayed here, with cape sleeve open at the front. Raglan Shoulder Pads are required to give you a structured shoulder, this jacket is elegant and chic for day or night. With a flattering silhouette.

Make yours in a check or houndstooth to be really on trend.

Add a patch pocket if you wish.

You will also need:

  • 220cm of fabric - based on a width of 140cm. 270cm of fabric - based on a width of 120cm.
  • 140cm of Lining - based on a width of 140cm
  • 150cm fusible - based on a width of 90cm
  • Raglan Shoulder Pads

Difficulty - Moderate//Hard.

The booklet included has well detailed instructions with pictures to further demonstrate each step. The construction of the outer layer and lining is really straightforward. The difficulty mainly comes when bagging out around the armhole and cape area. This is clearly demonstrated in the booklet however, to simplify and explain the correct process.
