The Drawstring Dress has been designed by taking inspiration from the catwalks trends seen in New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Drawstrings were all over the catwalks and became a trend all on their own along with a trend for rushed panels.

This pattern is best made with a lightweight cotton fabric for a great summer dress with a difference. Use abstract print to create an interesting look.

You will also need: Based on size 22

  • 360cm of fabric - based on a width of 140cm.

  • 300cm Drawstring optional if you don't want to make your own.

  • 60cm fusing - based on 90cm width.

  • 1x Hook and Eye.

  • 42cm concealed zip (all sizes)

Difficulty - Moderate.

Be sure to pin everything in place so the channels and curved bias edges are accurately positioned.

The A4 file is made up of 55 pages. When printing select "Actual Size" in Print setup. A 10cm x 10cm square is included within the file (page3). Measure this to check the file is printing to accurate measurements

All pages are numbered to make it easier to panel together.

All pages have an overlap of approximately 1.5cm, 1/2", and a dashed line boarder. This will enable you to accurately match each page.

THE A4 VERSION CAN BE PRINTED ON US LETTER. Do not change the scale, and where possible print centrally on the paper selecting boarder less printing. The overlap will be smaller but the overlap lines will appear in the page.
