Madelina is THE second-skin bodysuit that makes you feel elegant, supported and free to move — in sizes XS to 5XL.
This lingerie sewing pattern lets you sew a custom bodysuit: with lace or tulle version. With long, ¾ or short sleeves.
Not a bodysuit person? Good news! The Madelina pattern also includes a top version: same built-in bra, no gusset, for a more relaxed everyday look.
SUPPLIES NEEDED
| 2-WAY STRETCH FABRIC (25–30% extensibility, e.g. jersey, microfibre, mesh): 70 cm (28 in) for the bodice without built-in brassiere 1 m (1 yard) for the bodice with built-in brassiere. Version A Allow an additional length of 2-way stretch fabric for the sleeves, back thighs panels and neckline. |
| Version B ELASTIC LACE 20 cm wide, for sleeves, back thigh panels and neckline XS to XL : 2 m (2 yards) 2XL to 5XL : 2.5 m (2.5 yards) |
| 20 cm (8 in) of 100% COTTON JERSEY (lining of the gusset) |
| 1 m (1 yard) of SOFT PLUSH ELASTIC between 0.7 and 1 cm wide (¼ in and ⅜ in) excluding picots for the thighs. |
| 1 m (1 yard) of BRA PLUSH ELASTIC between 1 and 1,3 cm wide (⅜ in and ½ in) - excluding picots, for the brassiere. |
| Version A 1.2 m (1.1 yard) of FOLD OVER ELASTIC, 2 cm wide unfolded (¾ in), 1 cm (⅜ in) wide once folded, for neckline finishing. |
