The Canyon Dress and Top is a breezy, versatile sewing pattern, designed to make you feel comfortable and cute as you swish through the world. It features a band collar, and v-neckline finished with a placket. There is gathering along the front and back yoke seams, giving it a nice amount of ease. The pattern includes options for long sleeves finished at the wrist with elastic, or short sleeves that hit mid bicep. This is a pull on pattern with no zippers or buttons. The dress view features a comfortable elastic waistband and a tiered skirt with roomy pockets. Pair it with your favourite sweater on an evening stroll or dress it up and wear it on a fancy date!

Fabric Recommendations:
The Canyon Dress and Shirt is designed for light to mid weight woven fabrics. Fabrics with a bit of drape will give you more of the dressy look, while crisp fabric will give you a classic sundress vibe. Rayon challis, silk, lawn, voile, linen are all great fabrics for this garment.

The Canyon Dress and Shirt has a flexible and comfortable fit. It is brought in at the waist with elastic. There is a comfortable amount of ease throughout the dress. This dress was drafted using sample measurements for a height of 5’6”[168cm]. We recommend sewing a toile to check the fit before cutting into your nice fabric!
