GARMENT DETAILS
The Hove jacket is a loose-fitting hooded jacket designed for woven fabrics, with a sportswear vibe. With two different styles, it is the perfect layering piece.
It features a fully lined hood, open-ended zip closure (or double-ended zip if you'd prefer), high-low hem, in-seam pockets and pleated back detail.
All seams are finished with bias binding or Hong Kong binding, for a beautiful and high-end finish.
View A has a dropped shoulder and sleeve with a hem facing. The sleeves on View A are designed to be worn either straight or folded back, for a more casual look.
View B is sleeveless (creating the look of a dolman sleeve) and is designed to be layered over long-sleeved tops and dresses. The armhole on View A is finished with a facing for a beautiful and clean finish - in line with the rest of the jacket.
DIFFICULTY
The pattern is placed at a Level 3 out of 5, and has been designed for intermediate makers. Through careful drafting and beautiful finishing techniques, this pattern will have you feeling very proud of both the inside and outside of your new handmade jacket.
