Description
June 8th, 10am - 4pm (6 Hours)
What could be nicer than a day of yoga and sewing? Join us in our studio for a day that is all about relaxation and creativity. Start the day with a welcome coffee, followed by yoga with an experienced practitioner, Michelle. After sharing a nourishing lunch, you will spend the afternoon sewing a handy yoga carry bag. Finally unwind with a half hour of yoga to return to the outside world, energised and invigorated.
Please contact us if you would like to pay in instalments and we can discuss options.
Who is the class for?
No sewing or yoga experience needed, however some basic experience would be helpful.
The schedule
The sewing
Aimed at all levels of sewist, the yoga bag is a simple make that will elevate your yoga bag to a whole new level. Phoebe will guide you through all stages of making your bag.
The yoga
An open level yoga flow to energise the body, get the prana flowing before and after prolonged periods of sitting and focusing at your machine. Incorporating asanas to reopen the heart, free then neck and shoulders, reconnect to the core and nourish and elongate the spine. Whether you are a beginner or a more advance yogi, the practice will allow you to connect with your breath and body and return to your machine feeling calm, strong, energised and joyous. Michelle has been practicing yoga for over 30 years, trained with Yogahaven, Flying Fantastic, Les Mills and Polestar Pilates. She hopes to inspire a love of breathing and flowing in her yogis and keep them coming back to their mats.

Sewing Tutor
Phoebe is a keen dressmaker and loves to make clothes for her own wardrobe. Having always been creative, she decided to pursue a job in the fashion industry. After moving to London to work as a womenswear Buying Assistant for a high street fashion brand, she realised her job was not as creative as she hoped. She decided to learn to sew to be able to create the garments she could envisage in her head and in the process, found that understanding clothing construction and fit was invaluable to her buying role.
